Your free WHY DIT 1.0 download. Pick your system, install, and make some space.

Windows users: choose either the installer or the manual VST3 download. You only need one.

Download Windows EXE ZIP
  1. Download the ZIP and choose Extract All.
  2. Close your music software, then run WhyDit-Windows-Setup.exe.
  3. Follow the installer. Use the standard VST3 folder unless you have a custom setup: C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3.
  4. Open your DAW and rescan plugins if needed. Load Why dit as an audio effect.

Download Windows VST3 ZIP
  1. Extract the ZIP to find the Why Dit.vst3 folder.
  2. Copy the entire Why Dit.vst3 folder into C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3. Windows may ask for administrator permission.
  3. Restart your DAW and rescan VST3 plugins if needed.

macOS installer (17.93 MB)

Download macOS ZIP
  1. Double-click the ZIP to extract it.
  2. Close your music software and open WhyDit-v1.0.0-macOS-Universal-Signed.pkg.
  3. Follow the installer to install the macOS plugin formats. If format choices are shown, choose VST3, AU, or both for your DAW.
  4. Reopen your DAW and rescan plugins if needed. In Logic Pro, look for the AU version.

WHY DIT is a plugin and needs a compatible DAW or plugin host.
